CarAngel - Where Your Cars Make Angels Worldwide

Thursday, November 29, 2007

As a blogger, I always hop around the internet to find something out of the ordinary, anything that may arouse my reader's attention or any random thing that might just be of my interest. Well, I should say that this is one of the few posts that I personally feel strongly about.

"I came across a company that transforms cars into angels worldwide."

Intrigued? Let me expound more on the note. A company named Angel Ministries came up with an unprecedented effort to create child friendly animations and anti-drug documentaries from car donations. Yes, as hard to imagine as it is, there are actually some people who exert a little more effort for the extra mile, go for the road less travelled and in the process, transcend mediocrity. The folks behind the Angel Ministries are truly, a force to be reckoned with.

Personally, I think this is an effort that needs to be spread to everyone possible and this is one of the reasons why I just had to post this one on my blog.

I have been through their outputs like the Free Children's DVDs and asked some people for opinions about them. First, I came to their anti drug documentary entitled D.O.P.E. It featured the superstar skaters of the eighties with the names of Jay Adams, Dennis Martinez and Christian Hosoi. These are the names that made skateboarding what it is today. It mainly focused on the effects of drugs on their careers; as quick as they rose to fame, they fell even deeper. I asked my older brother about it and he said it was well made and very convincing. The other output that I visited was about this positive children's animation about a character that stimulates children's imaginations. Its very comparable to the ones you see in well-established characters from disney. I bookmarked it on my browser so my niece can view it when she comes home from school later this afternoon.

You see, your extra car would reach alot more audience and change lives in the long run. Do your share in this effort, donate a car.
